Someone Needs to Rewrite My Manual
I opened an old user manual this week and realized how confusing it must be for a new customer. There are long paragraphs, unclear instructions, and way too many technical terms. I am now considering professional technical writing services to help clean it up. Has anyone had a manual or guide rewritten by a professional? Did they actually make it easier to follow? I am curious about how much information you had to provide and whether the writer needed to know the product beforehand.
